restore hidden partition on drive C
Is it possible to restore a hidden recovery partition to drive C. I created a secure zone on drive C and the previous recovery file was removed from drive C and given a drive letter (E).
My concern is if I need to restore the system to original configuration, the recovery program will not be able to locate the recovery file if it is not in the original location.
I am using True Image 2011 version full install with license. OS is Win 7 pro 64 bit.
thanks

I did a full system backup, but didn't back-up the partitions. No problem with using ATI as system restore.
would you suggest keeping the secure zone for a system restore and also a complete backup on external hard drive. No problem right now with space on main drive but I have to keep all eggs in one basket.
Thanks for your time and efforts in addressing my issue.

It sounds like you chose the "system backup" option on the welcome screen. Unfortunately, this option doesn't necessarily backup all the necessary partitions for a full system restore.
You'd better create your own disk and partition bakcup and include, switch to disk mode when ATI proposes you the list of partition and select the system disk, OR select all the partitions on the system disk (you can verify you are selecting the right partitions by looking at windows disk managemenr).
No problem with using ATI as system restore.
Provided you have the backup described above, and provided you have tested your recovery disk (you have booted the computer on it and you have restored a couple of files from that backup0, then, yes, there should be no problem.

drop the secure zone. Put all your backups on the external USB disk drive. From time to time, copy one backup to another disk and take that disk offsite, OR place a copy of all your irreplaceable content (things you cannot recreate or buy again) in some online backup solution.
