Restore Win7 (MBR) to MBR does not work

Hello together,

I have a motherboard which basically does support UEFI.
But since I do NOT want a Win 7 GPT installaiton, I switched the BIOS boot mode to legacy.

With the legacy boot mode I made a fresh Win 7 installation with MBR partition table.
The operation system is running without any issue. Then I made a backup with ATIH 2014.
I included everything in the image file (System Partition and MBR).

Later the day I tried to restore my image file with ATIH 2014.
Unfortunately the system did not boot any more.
For some reason ATIH 2014 made the additional 100 MByte partition used for EFI / GPT installations.
I have tried a lot of different restore options, but could not get the system back to boot.

Therefore I tried to restore the same image file with an older Acronis Version (ATIH 2012).
The restore worked absolutely fine. The system is booting properly.

How can I use ATIH 2014 with Win7 and MBR?
