Restoring tib files to a new SSD or drive

Thread needs solution

I am currently using ATI 2011 under Windows 7. I do often backup and restore. I have no issue so far. Today, I found some errors in some sectors of C-drive. I thought that I got to replace the erronous C-drive. I am planning to replace it with either SSD or a new SATA drive. Is the restore of tib files from old drive are accepible for new drive (SATA/SSD) using bootable rescue disk? I wonder restsore to a new drive requires different steps or not. I am worried about that. Please advise me. Jorge

You should have no issue restoring your TIB to a new drive if there is no change in disk controller (for example you don't change from a RAID0 or RAID1 to a non-RAID configuration), even if it is an SSD. See here to restore to an SSD. http://forum.acronis.com/forum/26162
