Run List corrupted
Like others in this and other forums I started getting the "Run list corrupted" error a few short minutes into an image backup. Acronis Support suggested running the command CHKDSK /r, so I did that, but still receive the error. I run Vista Home Premium 32-bit with all the latest updates,
I am a little unsure, however, that CHKDSK finished its work. My destination drive is a 1TB Seagate external USB drive that's about 75% full. and CHKDSK was reporting about 41% complete when I last saw it working. I am not sure it completed its work because when I left the system, and returned a couple of hours later, the power save feature was enabled and I was looking at a black screen. After waking the system with a mouse click I found myself at the Vista user login screen. Is this normal CHKDSK behaviour, i.e., to complete its work without getting acknowledgement from the user, or reporting its results?
I would appreciate help with this, very much. Thanks,
Terry
