scheduled back up doesn't run after computer reboot in Windows 7
If the computer is shut down and then rebooted the next scheduled back up does not run and trying to run back up now also does not work. The scheduler reports the next scheduled back up time and the last backup but makes no mention at all that the last scheduled backup failed to run. The regularly scheduled back up had been running successfully before the computer was restarted. Last time the software did this, (also after a computer restart) a more technically knowledgeable family member restarted the acronis processes manually and the next back up ran as scheduled, but I do not have the technical knowledge to stop and restart processes. As far as I am concerned it is a bug if my scheduled daily back up stops running after I have to reboot the system. As a temporary solution, it would be helpful if the FAQ or the help documentation for True Image had instructions on how to restart the software when it has stopped working, but ultimately, if Acronis is can't improve the reliability of it's back up software, I will have to look at other solutions. It would also be helpful if there was a log that could be accessed from the Acronis panel. Right now all I get is an email notice if the back up ran, and no notification of anything if it didn't run.
I am running build 6525 and status says the software is up to date.
