Scheduled back ups won't stop or change

I can't stop the program from making weekly automatic back ups. I have tried changing the settings but it refuses to change. It makes a weekly back up no matter what I try.
Is there a fix for this or should I uninstall the 2014 and re-install the 2012? I am running windows 7.
