Scheduled tasks do not appear in list
Hi
I am having an issue with scheduled tasks not showing up in 2010 (build 5055).
If I generate a second task and give it the same name, it says it already exists (but the 2 tasks want to run together now)
Why are the taks not being shown once created, previous versions I had showed the tasks and i could edit them.
Now when a task is created it seems to just dissapear from view, its there, just does not show on the list.
I already found another posts that suggested this
Download schedmgr.exe
C:\>schedmgr task zap
task
zap
Ok
C:\>schedmgr service stop
service
stop
Ok
C:\>schedmgr service uninstall
service
uninstall
Ok
C:\>schedmgr service install
service
install
Ok
C:\>schedmgr service start
service
start
Ok
All seemed OK, no tasks are shown.
Known bug or should i just toss this version out and install an older one ???

Then create a brand new scheduled task and point the backup location to the correct location.
I would also delete all previous scheduled task and restart fresh.
Hi
I changed the location of the backup to a local drive and no luck.
Unfortunately I cannot delete existing tasks or add new ones as they do not appear in the scheduled tasks list within Acronis.
They do exist, if i create a new one with same name, it warns me the task already exists, but I cannot see any of them.

You could use Windows Explorer and check the contents of the TrueImage Scripts folder. If it has any contents, you could perform a delete of those files
And/or, you could initiate a new install of TrueImage. If you were to double click on the 113 meg install file, I believe it will give you an option to perform an install repair.
In XP, the scripts folder is here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\
In Vista, the scripts folder is found in a different place, which I believe to be here:
"C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\
