Scheduling - "Run task until the End of Day" - Not Explained in Help

I want to run a nonstop backup on my USB Drive but for unknown reasons Acronis does not support nonstop with USB drives. So I figured I would run it throughout the Day. My work files are on my USB drive.

I saw the option for Daily Backups that says "Run the Task every [2 hrs] until the End of Day".
But they do not say "when the end of Day is ?? If it is 11:59 PM then this means it basically never stops and then would be identical to "Periodic" backups.
I am wondering it "End of Day" is measured by activity and once you stop using the machine - it recognizes that as the end of the day.

I like the idea if that is the case because then it will not continue creating new Incremental Files all night long. But the Help file says nothing on this - any info on this from any of the Forum regulars?

I too ask the same question.

E.g. I configure a files backup to occur starting at 8:30 am with 2 hourly incremental backups until the end of day. But what is the end of day ?

From my perspective the end of the day is the end of the working day e.g. 6:00 pm.

Can what specifies as the end of day be configured ?

It's the sort of question I would expect to find an answer in the help...
