Seagate Disc Wizard Upgrade
I was wondering if the Seagate Disc Wizard is eligible for True Image 2013. When you click upgrade within the program, it takes you to a True Image 2012 page. I don't see a reason to upgrade to an older version of the software.

Disk Wizard is based around True Image 2009. Perhaps at some stage Seagate are going to upgrade to a Disk Wizard based on TI 2012. If Disk Wizard takes you to an Acronis 2012 update page rather than a Seagate update page, I would suggest contacting Acronis Sales to see if they have a deal for Disk Wizard users.
I don't think the 2013 upgrade would work with DiskWizard as it would need to be uninstalled for 2013 installation and you don't have access to the DiskWizard serial number which you would need. On the other hand, 2012 will install over the top of DiskWizard so the embedded serial number is not a problem.
It might be just as cheap to purchase a full version of 2013 which is more prtable and not locked to Seagate hard drives.

Talked with tech support and Seagate Disc Wizard can be upgraded to True Image 2013. I purchased upgrade, installed, and it worked perfectly. Didn't need Disc Wizard serial number and it installed over it (removed Disc Wizard).

Interesting, thanks for the info.
As TIH 2013 can't or shouldn't be installed over TIH 2010 and prior versions, they need to be uninstalled. This is due mainly to changes in the disk filter components and their placement in registry.
In the past one of the problems has been that DiskWizard uses an embedded serial number and if DW has had to be uninstalled for various reasons True Image upgrade has had a problem being installed as the serial number for DW isn't available to the user.
