Secure Zone backup error

Thread needs solution

Anyone know why I am receiving this error. TI 2009 build 9796 Vista 64bit
I got a blue screen of death while playing a game and the SZ started giving me this error on the next scheduled backup. Worked fine for about a year, till now. I deleted the SZ and recreated it already. That didn't fix it. Also tried a repair of TI2009. Also, could not validate any images that were in the SZ. The user and pass id correct. I tried making new task, no help.

Can you validate an image that is on the HD but not in the SZ?

If not, check your RAM which is possibly why you got the blue-screen in the game. Try Memtest86+ free from www.memtest.org . Best to let it run overnight; there should be zero errors.
A validation error means the archive can't be read into RAM and the numerous checksums sucessfully compared to the ones placed in the archive when it was created. Almost anything can cause this so it is a process of elimination.

Try validating the archives with the TI rescue CD - this takes Windows and the Windows version of TI out of the equation. Hopefully, you have validated or restored an archive with the CD before so you know it works.

If you are over-clocking or using aggressive RAM timings, back them off to a conservative value.

Typical hardware causes:
Bad RAM
Bad disk sectors holding the archive
Bad disk cables
Bad motherboard components
Bad CPU
A PC can have marginal hardware and show no problem in normal use. Imaging places a heavy load on the components given the large amount of data handled at high speed.
