Server Backup

I'm new to forum, My question is: I see there is a version> Acronis Backup & Recovery® 11 Server for Windows.

I've used older versions to backup my xp workstation, and in the past at work used to backup and restore servers, not sure what version we used. Does the server version backup require a reboot, or can it be deployed on the server and a back up be done of the server without rebooting the server.

I thinking of suggesting this as a tool here at work large company.
