Setting up Acronis 12 with Iomega StorCenter ix2-200

Thread needs solution

Has anyone set up 2012 to work with Iomega StoreCenter ix2? Trying to set up to do Data and Disk Images for my home network of 4 PCs. Any help appreciated. I cannot figure out how to contact support either by email, chat or phone.

What is the problem you are having accessing the drive?

If you log into your account and select Support from the left hand menu or go to the Acronis support website by using the Support button on the top right of this webpage, you then click on cantact support - on the right hand margin (if you are not logged in it will now ask you to log in).

Select the correct topics from the drop down menus and then select product (TIH 2012) and the email and live chat buttons at the bottom of the page will come into focus.

When targeting the Storecenter, try using full path:
\\ip.adress\directory\subdirectory instead of mapping the drive..........

Maybe that is the same problem as with ATI2011
At a customer of mine we are backing up full directories of an ix4-200d to a remotely ( PowerLAN) installed ix2 Cloud Edition (with ATI2011, didn't dare to switch to AT2012 yet because of alle the problems reported)

where i can get a copy of the True Image for my ix2? it says one license is included, but can't find serial or software anywhere.

You may need to contact Iomega, did the drive come with a CD or perhaps an installed partition that contains drivers etc. If True Image is included the serial number is most likely embedded into the installer it being an OEM product rather than a retail version.

Must be a quite old unit, have not seen any similar offers from LenovoEmcIomega in the past years.
Except the WD-Edition, which works (limited), if you have a WD Drive installed n your PC.
To re-comment my earlier post, yes it worked those days, but was cancelled again because it was SOOO slow....
