Shutting down Acronis Online Backup quickly

Acronis online backup is using up too much of my bandwidth that my VOIP phoneline voice quality is adversely affected.
If I need to shut down all Acronis online tasks (temporarily) quickly, shouldn't this sequence of steps (in a .cmd file) do it?
net stop "Acronis Nonstop Backup Service"
net stop "Acronis Scheduler2 Service"
net stop "Acronis Sync Agent Service"
I tried, but the backup is still proceeding despite... :(
Even clicking the "Suspend" button on the Online Backup UI takes forever to pause the backup.
