Is this software what I'm looking for?

Thread needs solution

I don't have much time to write this post. But I repair computers on the side and I find my self running into more and more hard drive problems. I would like to be able to purchase a new hard drive and clone my customers hard drive to it. Would this software be the best choice for that? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi
i use TI 2011 and have not had a problem (for a while!), but if you read this forum i wouldnt touch TI 2012 with a 10ft barge pole!, it seems like its a rushed release and has more bugs than ever before, if you want backup software thats simple, free & has a great support forum then i would give EASEUS backup a try, at least it wont cost you anthing.

Just my thoughts.

Pete

ATI 2011 seemed the same when it was released, and too the prior versions since ati10. The first build after the intial release is usually the most important.

ATI could be what Hunter is looking for. Best thing would be to get a trial version and try it on for size.

Note, however, that if a bad hard drive has made any of the bits on it go wonky, ati won't be able to help with that unless taht backup or clone was made pre-wonk.

Look through the forum for the many installation problems relating to version 2012 and go eleswhere in search of a product that works
