Starting Acronis Loader - no ASRM

Hi,

I wanted to clone the disk in my computer that holds the pagefile to a new disk using Acronis 2013 b6514. The clone didn't work, the boot just stuck at "Starting Acronis Loader... " and then some garbled text. I manually cloned it using other techniques but now I can't get rid of the "Starting Acronis Loader" message at startup and my computer doesn't boot, just hangs there, when I press escape, it continues to boot normally - anyone got ideas?

There is no ASRM installed on my machine.

I have just seen an "acroldr" folder on my C-drive with a file called "x0000001.bin" in it - anyone know if this is what is booting and how I can stop it? Please help!

I restored from backup with an Acronis 2012 bootable disk and all restored, but each time the system boots it displays "Starting Acronis Loader..." and hangs there until I press the Esc key, then it loads Windows 7.

How do I get rid of this?
