Strange compatibility issue with acronis home 2010

Hi folks,

Anyone else noticed this? I have installed acronis true image home 2010 on my windows 10 machine and previous to that had it on windows 8.1

I have found in both instances that the first version of true image 2010 will run ok on both version of windows but updated versions of true image 2010 will give an error message not compatible with OS, as far as I know trying compatibility in properties will not resolve this.

Anyone have a fix other than to buy a later year version?

I don't have a fix. But before you spend the money on the extremely truncated and buggy 2015 version, try out 2014. Takes Acronis more than a year to really properly debug every version, coincidently just in time for an expensive new version. 2014 has worked well for me on Windows 10.
