System Backup - System not secure
Every time when I start Acronis - I got the message "Your System is not secure" - even I backed the whole system up to an external harddisk. Right after the first backup from the System, the message is "Your system is secure". Next time I start the Acronis Programm, from then on it always shows the message "Your system is not secure".
Whats the reason, that I always get the message "Your System is not secure".

I installed Home 2010 and started off by backing up my entire hard drive. There were actually 3 partitions (C, D, E) as OEM Dell uses D & E to store drivers, files, etc. Anyway the backup went fine. After installing some more item I performed an incremental backup. Next time I started Home 2010 I got the same message about "system not secure". So I backed it up but it now backed up the entire system but only the C drive. After I made the recovery disk it started backing up the system again and not just incremental but the whole thing again.

The message (not coverd) is a malfunction of the program. If you have completed a full disk backup (all partitions) and it has been validated, you can ignore the message. However, regardless of whether you get the message or not, it is very prudent for you to test and prove that your backups can be properly restored.
Dave, check you task to backup setting--(I believe under the scheduler options). Make sure the option to perform a backup on startup, or if misssed etc is not checked.
7046 is the current build for version 2010 home.

Thank you. I must have a backup setting incorrect as a system backup should only be short. I know from the manual that a system backup can only be a full backup but still only the system , configuration files, and maybe the registry. I will go through every setting tonight. Thanks again.
