System Disk backup vs Entire PC backup
I have a 119 GB solid state Drive. The system disk (C:) has 96 GB of files. The disk also has a 200 MB system partition (which is not accessible because it doesn’t show up in My Computer or the folder tree) but I assume it has no files. It takes Acronis 15 minutes to perform a System Disk backup. However, it takes Acronis 1 hr and 15 minutes to backup the “Entire PC”. Further, the tib file for the Entire PC backup is much larger than the tib file for the System disk backup: 81 GB vs 31 GB. Why the big differences? Is the Entire PC backup a sector by sector backup?

Also a possibility is that since your system disk is an SSD, you may have some intentional unallocated space for intentional use by the SSD.
This unallocated space would be included within the Entire PC backup. If you should want or need to replicate this onto a new/larger disk,
the Entire PC is the best choice for use to restore your system.
If you look at your system via the Windows Disk Management Module, you can see how the entire disk is allocated.
