TI 2010 Keeps trying to run deleted task

Thread needs solution

I'm running TI 2010 (build 7046) and had a weekly task to do a full disk image of my C: drive to a network attached storage drive. About a month ago I removed that task and it no longer shows up in my task list. I have no scheduled tasks anymore.

However, every week I get an email with the following information:

1 Error 2010-10-01 7:31:01 AM No such script '6702FEFC-AEDF-4E59-8707-D4EFF77949D5'.
2 Warning 2010-10-01 7:31:01 AM Failed to process pair script:6702FEFC-AEDF-4E59-8707-D4EFF77949D5.
3 Error 2010-10-01 7:31:01 AM Operation has completed with errors.

It seems to be trying to run this task every week as it used to. Any idea how I can eliminate this error and stop TI from trying to run this task?

Thanks.

What operating system are you running? You should first verify the accuracy of the information by looking in the event viewer. XP/Vista/Win7 - all of these operating systems have the event viewer utility under the admin tools.

Update: I found KB article 1785 which addressed this issue. I followed the instruction there to remove the offending task in the Acronis Scheduler. Problem solved I believe. We'll find out for sure in a week's time when the task would have run again.
