TI 2011: How to change trial license to purchased?

Thread needs solution

How I can change trial (beta) license to purchased one? Or is it really necessary? I mean I'm going to make rescue media and I wondering, is license somehow tied to it?

Do you mean after you've purchased a full licence?

If so, you might have an option to 'activate' the trial which will appear on the left side of the first form you see after you installed TI. If you've ticked the 'Don't show this again' option, I'm not sure how you get it back. Though an uninstall and re-install of the trial should then give you the option.

The trial rescue CD has restrictions after 30 days, you will only be able to recover images not make them.

Trial Restrictions

Yes, I mean after I have purchased, so now I have purchased license.

AFAIK I have not ticked "Don't show this again" option, but I have activated TI 2011 beta (5088) with beta license. Now I updated to current build 5105 and I like enter my purchased license to it (to create rescue media that works without restrictions).

Maybe I have to wait until beta trial is over? Maybe then TI asks new license...

I would be inclined to uninstall the beta and install 5105, that way all the components will be 5105 versions.

Well maybe, but then I loose again my backup tasks?

Although I noticed that there is Tools & utilities / Backup settings transfer. Anyone tested it yet (especially that importing works)? What I dig exported settings, it seems that they does not contain any sign of email notification settings (for example). So I do not dare to trust on them.

Edit: I tried with virtual machine and it seems settings are imported correctly. Nice :)
