TI 2013 Local Folders Sync

I've used this sync function only 3 times now, but in each case it was to sync video files from one drive to another, and each time the destination drive was left excessively fragmented.

At first I thought that it might have to do with the state of fragmentation before syncing, but in the last sync that I did today, the destination drive was brand new, clean and empty.

As you can see in the screenshot attached, it is going to take a very long time for O&O to defrag it. Is there anything that I can do differently to prevent this from happening in the future?
