TI 2015 on Surface Pro 3, stuck loading TI after clone operation.

Thread needs solution

At the end of creating a clone of a Surface Pro 3 to an external USB 3.0 SSD, Acronis reboots the machine. Instead of booting into Windows, it tries to boot into Acronis. It shows an "Operation Progress" dialogue box with a progress bar labeled "Preparing". There is a check box that says "Shut down the computer when operation is completed", a "?" button, and a "Cancel" button.

After a minute of waiting, another warning box appears titled "Acronis Bootable Agent is waiting for removable media", "Yes", "No", "Cancel". I select "Yes". After another minute, the warning box reappears.

This loop continues until selecting "No" or "Cancel". After selecting "No" or "Cancel" the computer reboots into Acronis and repeats the cycle.

Booting into UEFI works (power button & volume button up) but changing options has no effect. Booting to an alternate media does not work (power button & volume button down) and Acronis continues to load without a menu.

(Surface Pro 3, i7, 512GB, 8GB).
