TI Home 2012: NonStop BackUp on QNAP

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I'm just wondering if there is a way to use a nonstop backup with my QNAP 419P+ NAS. When I point my NAS as a destination it says "unsupported filesystem".

Thank you.

Greetings,
I have not tested this and am not currently at home to do so. Only limitation I can see is SMB protocol (MS Networking) must be enabled on NAS.

QNAP claims:
Firmware Tested
3.6.1
TS-419P+
ATI 2012
Functions Tested
1. Backup/Restore to Microsoft Networking share
2. Backup/Restore to FTP server
3. Rescue CD with FTP
4. Rescue CD with Microsoft Networking share

I'm running 3.8.1. I think I have seen mention of compatibility issues with certain NAS's however, I have not experienced any. I am not using non-stop back up.

How are you specifying the target?

\\Server_name\share
\\Server_ip\share

Michael,
Will update you when I find more info related to your issue.

I bought another HD and configured it in a single disk share. After that nonstop backup accepted it as a destination.
But I think this is not a solution and Acronis must work hard to fix these problems.
