TI2012 Bootable media hangs after "Setup AVD Deviecs" message

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I have a series of computers where the TI 2012 bootable media hangs when loading. The component common to these computers is a Supermicro X9SRA motherboard. All have standard SATA SSD hard drives which have been proven to work well with TI 2012 on other computers.

Here is the full problem:
1) Boot from the bootable media CD
2) Click the one-click restore button
3) Screen goes black and some text appears:

"no raid disks
Reading all physical volumes. This may take a while...
/bin/ipwatchd: error while loading shared librares: libpcap.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Setup ACD devices"

The flashing cursor becomes solid after a few seconds and no new text has appeared for at least a half hour. I ignore that "no such file" error because I see it even on systems where the bootable media works.

I have tried the documented boot options using the F11 setup. This bootable media disc works on other systems

Please advise

Andy

I can provide an additional detail. When I use the "vga=ask" option, the only video modes listed are the VGA modes: 80x25, 80x50, 80x43, 80x28, 80x30, 80x34, 80x60. Perhaps it cannot load if there is no video card detected. There IS a PCI express video card which our other computers do not have...

Ok.. Resolved, with a workaround. Not an issue with Acronis.

I'll leave this here in case anyone runs into this issue using this motherboard.

On this motherboard there is a BIOS option under PCIe settings "Above 4G Decoding" (Enables or disables 64-bit capable devices to be decoded in Above 4G address space) which is required to be ENABLED for our hardware. When I disable, I am able to set the correct video mode within Acronis and boot into the one-click restore. I just have to remember to enable it after I finish.
