TI2013 - wrong backups in consolidation chain

I discovered that one of my disk backups had more incrementals than I wanted so I launched the consolidation wizard. The wizard showed me a full backup and six incrementals for the disk but also showed that a full backup for another disk (and in another backup folder) was also part of the 'chain'. I've attached a picture from the consolidation wizard. Why would this happen? Is there recovery from this other than doing two fresh full backups of the two disks in question?

By the way, I'm using TI2013 because I could not get TI2014 to run my scheduled backups reliably. When I fell back to TI2013 I removed all my scheduled backups from TI2013 and manually recreated them.
