TIH 2011 always "stops working" after a Outlook backup

Thread needs solution

I am running ATH 2011 build 6868 and I also have the Plus Pack installed. My OS is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit version.

I am running several backups scheduled every day and one is a backup of my Outlook datafiles (local install - no exchange server). I just use the "standard" backup job for Outlook without changing too many options and I use the default backup scheme.

Since I upgraded to build 6868 a couple of weeks ago Windows Reliability Monitor is logging a "Stopped Working" error every day at the exact time my Outlook backup job is finishing. This problem was not present with any version before build 6868, and I've always kept my software up to date with the latest build.

The error message is exactly the same every day.

I have tried the following:
1) Disabled the Outlook backup job and left the other backup jobs - the error was gone and this confirmed that the Outlook backup job is causing the error
2) Deleted and re-created the Outlook backup job - did not help and the error is still there
3) Completely un-installed TIH and re-installed build 6868 - did not help and the error is still there
4) Completely un-installed TIH and re-installed the previous version build 6696 - the error is gone

But, because any older version let my computer go to sleep in the middle of a backup I went back to build 6868.

As far as I can tell the crash is more a nuisance than anything else. My backup seems OK (it verifies OK but I have not tried to restore it), but this brings my W7 Reliability index down towards zero (not that it matters *that* much - but something is wrong and it should be fixed).

Any help on this issue please?

Nobody else are seeing this with build 6868? I am pretty confident that this is a bug in that particular (=last) build.

If nobody else has experienced the problem it would also help me a lot if someone that *does not* have the problem with outlook backup og a local .pst file on build 6868 could step forward. Thanks! :)

Submitted a ticket to Acronis support but of course they are more concerned about pumping out their yearly "upgrade" than fixing bugs in their products. Now that TIH 2012 is released this bug will probably never be fixed :(
