TIH2012 - Folder exclusions don't work
Hello.
I use True Image Home 2012 on Windows 7 64-bit. I'm using latest build (7133).
For some reason folders listed in Exclusions aren't excluded from backup. This problem only recently appeared, and making a completely new backup plan from default settings doesn't fix anything.
Attached screenshot of my exclusion settings.

It's a completely new backup task I made (and therefor it had default settings). I have used the Browse dialog to add the folders AND I have also tried writing the folder paths manually, and the result is the same: TIH2012 does not exclude them. The trailing "\" does not make a difference.

Hi Chris,
If the paths are correct, other than reinstalling TrueImage and starting over with a new task and avoiding all edits, I am not sure what else you can do using the 2012 version. One option might be paid support. I believe they will refund your support charge if they find the problem theirs but I am not sure of that procedure is accurate.
Another option would be to try the trial version of 2014 but that would require the uninstall of your 2012 and the new install of 2014. Should you not want to purchase 2014, a restore to 2012 would be required.
The most likely user created problem would be wrong paths. Nothing is apparent in your listing of paths but you could use a progam such as TreeSize Free to confirm the paths to the foldlers you want to exclude.
This free program will list all folders and their content via a directory tree.

Thanks for your help so far, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.
I can now confirm that my paths are right. I think I'm going to try completely reinstalling 2012 (it may take a day or two before I get the time).
I don't feel like upgrading to 2014 permanently, since it's sort of expensive and offers very few new features that I would find useful.

If you are going to start over, then I would do the extra steop of running the TI Cleanup program (link 4 below).
Do point the new tasks to an empty storage folder and get all your paths to what you want before you ever run it the first time.
