TIH+p: problems restoring to hardware RAID 5 non-system disk

Thread needs solution

(Sorry for the very long message, but it's a complicated situation)

Computer Setup:
Windows 7 (64) machine:
ASUS P8P67 deluxe motherbd.
C: is SSD disk (120 GB)
E: is a RAID 5 setup fo 3 WD disks, hardware contr. (IntelP67 on MoBo) (1,81 TB)
M: is a RAID 0 setup for 2 disks , hardware contr. (Marvell PCIe 9128 on MoBo)(931 GB)
16 GB RAM
TrueImageHome 2011 pluspack backup on external USB3 disk
(of course CD/DVD/BD writer etc.)

Because of the limited capacity of the SSD, system installation has been articulated, with OS and essential programs on SSD (C:) but user and size increasing files (mail, Norton signatures, etc.) and most software and data on RAID5 (E:).
(Unfortunately TIH has been installed on E:)

After a sudden system crash (the system had been working fine for about 2 years) i tried recovering from TIH+ backup. Had to use the bootable CD. C: was recovered in minutes, but since users setup etc. pointed to E:, recovering the RAID5 unit was necessary for the system to work properly.

After several failed attempts (@ 6-8 hrs each, ending with a "successful recovery" message) I realized that:
- bootable TIH+ did not see the RAID 5 disk;
- misled by the disk letter shift (and the "raid disk" label) I had been recovering the E: (RAID5) backup onto what in my original setup was the M: (RAID0) disk.

Since Windows works (well, kind of) from C:, I decided to run TIH+ from there, so that the "mounting" (I don't know if I'm properly using this word) of the RAID5 would come before running TIH+.
(As I said, unfortunately TIH+ had been installed on E: This means it had been erroneously recovered on the M: RAID0 disk. Copying the appropriate directory from M: to E: had TIH+ running, but during recovery TIH+ requested to restart system, and launched its bootable version, which rebooted windows, aborting the recovery. Thinking the problem might be in the TIH+ program itself sitting in the disk onto which the recovery was directed, I uninstalled TIH+ and reinstalled it, this time on the C: disk.)

This time recovery seemed to be pointed towards success: TIH+ correctly "announced" the E: (raid 5) as the target for recovery but (after a few minutes, "reading the backup directory" I guess) TIH+ asked to restart, LAUNCHING AGAIN ITS BOOTABLE VERSION (which is not able to see the RAID 5 disk, I fear), THEN REBOOTED WINDOWS AND ABORTED THE RECOVERY.

Any suggestion? I have almost 800 GB of essential settings, programs and data there to recover!

Sorry for the long message, but needed to explain complex situation.
