Hello all,
Thank you for using Acronis Products
Please try to find fox.dll file by means of Windows Search utility (Start -> Search). After that copy the file to the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\MediaBuilder
After that please reboot the computer and launch the software once again.
Have you tried to reinstall the program?
If the issue still persists update SnapAPI drivers using the following KB article

The mistake is in the installtion of another version. Remove them completly, remove programfolder. then install new, then it is okay.

Dmitry,
I found fox.dll and copied it to the folders you named. I rebooted and the problem still exists. Appreciate your attempt to resolve . I'm going to uninstall ATI completely and do a clean install of ATI 2010. This problem has sure cost me a lot of time.

Hello all,
I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.
The issue is only with installing Acronis True Image Home 2010 over an older version of the product. In order to solve the issue please do the following:
- Uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2010 through Add/Remove Programs. If you have an older version of Acronis True Image Home installed, remove it with Acronis CleanUp Utility;
- Do a clean installation of Acronis True Image Home 2010.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you.

I bought a WD hard drive and install there version of Acronis without uninstalling 2009. I also have this problem of TimounterMonitor.exe - Entry Point Not Found appearing after boot-up. I could not uninstall WD's version. I reloaded 2009 and uninstall it but did not resolve problem. Could not gain access to download the cleaner software, although this moght not help because I can get WD's version to uninsall. Do you guys have any ideas of what I can try next?
Thank You
Chip

Dmitry,
I wish there'd be some readme.txt with Acronis download packages - this would save Acronis and TrueImage users a lot of time.
I just installed an upgrade from ATI2009 to 2011. Before, I searched for information about whether I'd have to uninstall the old version. I had to consult Google and thus found a page on your site where it said that installations up to version 9.0 would have to be uninstalled before installing an upgrade. Assuming version 9.x must be older than version 2009 I installed 2011 over the existing version. Not only that the installation process took way longer than I had expected (had I known I would have chosen another day to upgrade), now I'm also getting the timounter.exe error message and have to start from scratch while actually having more urgent tasks at hand.
That's why I think a little text file coming along with the installation package wouldn't hurt. It could have informed me of a longer installation process (explaining why this is so) and that I'd have to uninstall an older version prior to installing an upgrade. There is software on the market requiring old versions to be installed in order to install upgrades, so there is no way to know for sure how to proceed. Readme or install.txt's come along with any free software package. It's hard to understand why a company selling to businesses doesn't offer a better up front support.
Regards,
Angela
PS: Uninstalling didn't do the job as both versions were in the same folder. Hundreds of entries had to be deleted from the registry (83 of which were mot editable) before being able to remove timounter files resp. the Acronis directory.
