Tip for those who get a BSOD and can't boot into Windows 7 after un/installing TIH

Thread needs solution

If you find after either uninstalling a previous version of TIH or after installing 2012, you are unable to get past a BSOD or the BCD message that Windows can't start due to a missing driver. Before wall mounting your PC in frustration and re-installing W7, try pressing the F8 key to persuade the Windows Boot Manager to load the option menu which will allow you to select the 'start last known good configuration' option of Windows.

This can be enough to at least get your system bootable again and into Windows. This is also valid for Vista. XP has the luxury of being able to provide a bulk repair to all Windows files (so long as you have access to the installtion files) as well as the F8 option.
