Trial version with Bootable Media Builder when doing backups

Thread needs solution

Hello @all,

i purchased True Image 2015 and Disc Director 12 in a bundle, both activated.
I often do backups and partition disc with bootable media, i installed Acronis Bootable Media Builder -Standalone Release 11.5 Build 38.938 and made a bootable USB Stick with True Image 2015, Universal Restore and Disc Director 12 on it.
But when i do a backup, i get the message, that this is a trial version.
With True Image 2013 and Disc Director 11 it has been possible to create such a bootable media.
Now what can i do, to solve this?
Thx.
Regards
Frank

If you have registered your Acronis 2015 version, register this version on Acronis.com and access the product download area to download a bootable ISO or produce a new one with your local Acronis copy.

Yes, i already did.

Frank,
Double check to make sure it is the purchased version serial number which is registered, and it is the purchased version which is downloaded.

Try downloading a new bootable media file from the licensed version inside your Acronis online account.
My signature link 9, picture #7 inside that link might help.
If using Win 7-8, you can right click on the downloaded iso file and choose the "open with" Windows Disk image burner.

If using XP, you will need to use a 3rd party program such as free ImgBurn.

Hi GroverH,
thank you for your helpfull link, but i made all the steps. Login in my Acronis account, register my serial numbers and downloaded the latest build versions.
I will try it as long, as it takes to work. OS is Win7 64Bit.

Frank

This issue occurs when using the Universal Media builder to build the Linux based rescue media.

The WinPE based media does not have this issue. I recommend using MVP Mustang's excellent MustangPEBuilder. It uses Windows drivers so it supports more hardware configurations. Drivers can also be added to the rescue media to support even more hardware. The link below has instructions for building the MustangPE with True Image, Universal Restore, and Disk Director.

Thank you Joey,

i installed/uninstalled it several times, now it works! Yes, i read your second link, but it's hard work. The "normal" Acronis bootable media with TI2015, DD12 and Universal Restore is sufficient to me.
