Downloaded trial version of True Image 2015 for PC, received login and password, created online account with Acronis but can't register the product because no serial number was sent via e-mail. Is a serial number required to register and use a product? I would presume yes unless it is a trial version?

The answer is apparently no since I have been able to use the product to do local backups and recoveries and create a boot disc.
