True Image 2010 is restoring, but it's using same partition size

Thread needs solution

I have an IBM Thinkpad T30 that originally had a 20GB HDD on it. I have now upgraded to a 60GB HDD. It seems to restore correctly, but I'm trying to get the System partition to utilize the entire 60GB drive rather than create a 20GB partition and 40GB of unallocated space. It says when I restore it that it's doing a "Sector By Sector" restore, does it matter if I selected the "Sector by Sector" checkbox when the .tib file was created? I can't remember what option I selected when I made the Disk Image.

You need to use the Secure Zone Trick to regain that unallocated space. Read the Sticky at the top by GroverH. The SZT instructions are in there.

Or, you could repeat the restore but this time, check off ONLY the system partition (not the entire disk). As you follow the steps in the restore wizard you'll eventually see a screen that lets you choose the size of the restored partition. Move the slider all the way to the right to use the whole 60 GB on the disk.
