True Image 2012 - unable to restore from a backup

Thread needs solution

Been doing weekly (replace) full backups for about a year now of my C Drive (SSD) to my E drive (mech disks)

1. Came home from work, 6008 in my event log. NOt good. Ran sfc.exe /scannow - corrupt and unrecoverable files. Bad.

2. Reboot machine using TI 2012 bootable media. Go to restore from back up - no problem, it deletes my C partition then errors with "recover operation failed". OUCH.

3. Looking at log in the bootable media I see the following errors:
Operation with partition 'C:' was terminated. |Details:\Run list corrupted (0x7001C| Tag -0x89D94B01B483DCE9
Run list corrupted
..
Disk '\local\hd_sign(AF93A2B1)' has invalid BIOS number (0). The following value will be used (128)
Recover operation failed.

I googled a bit and I see that its likely my file system was corrupted prior to making this backup. Doh. Is there anything I can do at this point?

If I try to do a sector by sector restore, Acronis "sees" everything correctly, except it thinks that my freespace before is 8,234,234,234 TB and my free space after will be 0.

If any other info is needed to try to help me, i'll gladly provide it!

Oh, one other piece of info: When I use "verify backup" it passes successfully!

Will True Image let you do a sector-by-sector restore when trying to restore the entire disk image at once, instead of choosing the indiviual partitions?

I don't have that option in 2012, it seems. I only have restore partitions. Should I try a bootable 2011 you think?
