True Image 2014 restore killed my computer

Thread needs solution

Yes I restored my computer using True Image 2014 and when I restored it after it got done nothing would boot. The problem was the motherboard went out so I had it replaced. After two months I was going to restore it again and everything went fine but when I restored the computer the motherboard again died. Can True Image 2014 kill a motherboard? Is a person not supposed to restore the computer very many times, I"m really confused about this issue. The only thing I did was restore and twice right after restarting the computer the motherboard dies. Does anyone have any advice? I don't know what to make of this issue at all. Can restoring my computer too many times kill it?

Not possible that restoring an drive image to a hard drive will kill a motherboard. You have some other issue, possibly a bad power supply, power spike to machine at power source (wall outlet), etc.

Do you know what exactly died on your motherboard? Knowing that might provide some guidance.

No, I don't have a clue, when Dell came out they just said the motherboard needed to be replaced. I did not think True Image could really do anything to my motherboard but it was the only thing that I was doing when it died both times. I just wanted to ask. Maybe like you said it's the power supply or something else is wrong with it. Thanks for your response.
