True Image Home 2010 Service crashes on Win XP mountpoints

Thread needs solution

Hi!
I have a "pictures" partition in Win XP that is usually mounted on F:\my_pictures.
True Image Home 2010 successfully backs up F:\ >>without<< the mountpoint my_pictures.
Whenever I try to back up the mountpoint my_pictures, I get an error after a few seconds. The error says that "True Image Home 2010 Service has encountered a problem and needed to close", and I get a report-to-microsoft window.

As soon as I give my "pictures" partition a drive letter, say T:\, I can successfully back up the partition.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
Is there any solution, a patch, or a new build?

Please note that I haven't tried to back up mountpoints in Vista or Win 7 so far. I don't know if the error occurs in those OSes as well. I'm simply talking about Win XP.

Thanks in advance for your comments

Gerald
