True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack problem restoring to different hardware

Thread needs solution

Good Evening,
Last week I purchased both the True Image Home 2011 & the Plus Pack, as I knew I had a dying machine & needed to grab the image and restore to a different hardware. Installation & creation of the .tib file went well as I saved the image on an external drive. Fast forward to the new machine, I boot using the bootable media I created & when prompted - restore the .tib file to the new drive. Everything seemed to be moving well.
Now with the process completed, I tried to boot to this drive & the drive is not found. And I understand now why, the drivers required for booting are not on the new hard drive. After much searching & "chatting" with tech support, I am directed to solve my problem by adding the machines boot drivers at step 4 & 5 of the recovery wizard. Hope I'm not putting anyone to sleep?
The problem is, my step 4 &5 do not include the option to use Acronis Universal Restore or Disk Manager so I cannot add in the boot drivers. Another chat with Tech Support & they send me a new ISO to use as bootable media. I make the disk & get to the same point & the same result, the options are not there for me. I actually contacted them again & received yet another ISO & same result.
* Now I am only wishing I could just stick the original drive back in the original machine & start over, but I can't. First question - Does aomething happen to the integrity of a drive once you "image" it? Why I cannot simply replace it in its original state is frustrating.
More to the story - I keep trying various suggestions I find in the knowledge base, and I find a way to recover, with the Universal Restore option - and just when it seems to be finished I get a "Recovery Failure" error. I don't see a spot here where I can look up particular errors. In my case I get past the backup validation & into the restore I get this error - PENDING OPERATION 11 -Operation with Partition C was terminated (details:index corrupted (0x70025) tag=(0x89D94B01B483DE9F) followed by PENDING OPERATION 56 started "recovery MBR" recover operation failed.
Sorry for all this detail, but lI am exhausted trying to get this to work, it should be so simple yes?
I'm tossing this out - I appreciate you time in helping me resolve this
Steve
