True Image Home 2013 plus pack doesn't recognize SATA @ boot

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I want to clone an ATA Disk to a SATA Disk.
PC is WIN7 home premium 64bit 4GB RAM
Motherboard is ASRock G41M-VGS3 R2.0

TIH is latest Version, downloaded today

BIOS is recognizing both disks, also Windows does, however when I start "clone disk" everything works fine until after rebbot, the SATA isn't recognized, so clone process fails.
Also tried boot image - "TIH says "only only one disk blah blah"
Also tried to swap 1st and second Disk in BIOS, same behaviour.

Well, I have to say TIH really makes me p.o., as everytime I have to use it, I have to start investigation why just in this specific case it doesn't work.

Hope for a rapid solution, not too time consuming this time :o(.

Thanks for your help

J.

When you boot from the ATI 2013 bootable Rescue Media, does it recognize the SATA drive?
Is this an internal SATA drive, or an external eSATA drive?

Hi,
I had no bootable rescue media, simply because I do not want to install Acronis on each and every PC I have to backup / clone once.
Finally I gave up on this, installed the entire OS manually on the other disk.

Um, the bootable Rescue Media is totally separate from Windows and does not need installation. I think you don't understand that.

The recovery media is available for download in your Acronis account. You just need to burn the ISO to CD or USB stick.
