I think the problem is the type of machine you have. It is not related to having 32 bit Windows 8, it is because you are using a 32 bit Atom processor (per your other post) http://forum.acronis.com/forum/42480.

The Acronis 2013 Rescue Media (build 6514) does not seem to work on some 32bit UEFI Secure Boot systems. (Most Atom processor based systems are set up this way.)

This has been reported on the forum before.

My suggestion is to open a support case with Acronis, as there is nothing that can be done through the forums to help fix this issue. A new version of the bootable media would have to come from Acronis. They may need you to provide some information from your system to research this problem more fully.

There is no charge for restore/recovery issues.

Thanks

I can make a 32 bit bootable usb key with acer recovery manager this key worh and boot, but only for restore original factory windows. On this key on efi repertory I have this boot file bootia32.efi
on usb bootable media, make with acronis, on efi repertory I have this file bootx64.efi
it is not the same boot file

This might be the cause of your booting problem, in theory the 64.efi is the correct file, and according to Microsoft, 32 bit Windows don't run on UEFI systems, having said that, Atom based tablets do run on a 32 bit UEFI system and Microsoft do actually provide 32.efi.

I am unsure if just replacing the bootx64 with your bootia32 file will work, but you have nothing to lose in trying it. Does the USB key run a Windows PE or Linux UEFI files, if the bootia32 is a Windows based file, copying it won't work
