Two .tib Images are removed from the list and HDD - How do i get it back?

Thread needs solution

Hi Community!

For some Days i had again made a backup of my system with Acronis 2013 as a trial (Build 5551) and it also ran through everything. So there were these two image files (****. Tib) exists on another internal HDD.

Then I switched the system SSD as intended and wanted to reinstall the image again. This was not because he was probably not the MBR restored. Ok. Three times, trying not stand a chance. Then I installed Win7 from DVD and right after Acronis as a trial. Everything ok.

I wanted to start the recovery and selectet the "before and after validation".
As I said, however, seemed to take too long .... I stopped the process and wanted to start the recovery without validation ..... but now is the folder where my two backups was, empty. GetDataBack is struggling and can not find anything. Recuva also find nothing.

Any Ideas to get my "Volume.tib" back?

In most cases, users lose files when they choose the wrong disk or partition as the target for recovery. When a disk or a partition is selected as a target and the process starts, ATI erases all data on that partition.
If you are 100% sure you are looking at the right place for these files, they are probably gone.

Remember that the recovery CD can show you drive letters that are different from Windows. Make sure you are looking in the right place. Look at disk labels, not disk letters.
