UEFI - how to change Boot Order - CD first the HDD

Hi

I have purchased a new 64 bit computer that uses UEFI
I use Acronis 2015 TI

From what I have read on the Internet, suggestions have been made not to change the Boot Order when using UEFI - I am not sure what the reason is.

At present the the boot sequence does not read the CD/DVD first.

Is there an alternative way to load the Acronis boot recovery CD in order to perform a restore ?
