Unable to access Acronis Sync Server to modify licenses

Thread solved

My old Desktop bit the dust, so I had a new one built and tried to run ATI 2014 on the new one. Used PCmover to transfer all of my old PC to the new one.

I am not able to move/delete a license from my old machine and activate on it my new machine.

I have the family pack for 3 PC's.  I cannot access the appropriate server from any of my 3 installations to access the license.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro, which contrary to comments here, ATI 2014 ran perfectly on my old machine with the same OS.

Even Acronis Technical Support was able to offer a solution.

Bryan, you will need to perform an offline activation as Acronis changed the security requirements for their servers a couple of years back and put out new builds of ATI 2017 and later versions to implement support for TLS 2.0 etc, but not for any earlier versions prior to 2017.

See KB 45522: Acronis True Image: Activation Fails with "Failed to connect to the Acronis activation server" - for how to use the offline activation procedure.

Thank you.

I accessed that kb, but how do I get to the selection, Activate Offline?

Do I need to uninstall and start over?

Bryan, please see KB 43896: Acronis True Image 2014: Activation which has a section dealing with activating from another PC for offline activation for this version.

Thank you Steve for all of your help.

KB59689 was the solution to my problem. License successfully transferred.
