Uninstall or Disable (Operations are in progress, please wait.)

Thread needs solution

- Win 8.1 Pro
- 64 Bit
- ATI 2014

I need to either uninstall ATI 2014 or disable it from starting up with Windows. I do not want the "Operations are in progress, please wait. The machine will be turned off automatically after the operations are complete." message.

I have deleted all tasks. When I open up Acronis, it says "No backups found on your computer." That is good. I have existing tibs but have removed all tasks. I have also disabled Scan for Backups at startup.

I need to have confidence that I won't be bothered by this "Operations are in progress message." Nothing that I have done so far has prevented this message from occurring.

So, I need to either uninstall or preferably disable ATI from starting up when Windows starts up.

~Uninstall~

I tried to uninstall by right mouse, uninstall in the control panel, program and features. I then got "Setup settings" with "Delete Acronis Secure Zone and distribute its space among partitions blah blah." I am thinking that my best plan might be to uninstall ATI when it is not needed and reinstall ATI when I want to complete another backup.

I am confused by these options. I just want to uninstall.

So, I pressed cancel and got a message about "Are you sure you want to quit Acronis True Image 2014 Setup?"

How do I uninstall?

~Disable~

Using the Task Manager, can I simply disable "Acronis Scheduler Helper", "Acronis TIB Mounter Monitor" and "Acronis True Image Monitor"? Would that disable ATI from starting when Windows starts?

Please note, I have nothing scheduled.

========

I look forward to your assistance.
