I'm running Win7 Ultrium version, and i have try to uninstall true the normal way in the control panel of Win 7, get a message no uninstall utility available. I try (Acronis KB 24545) described uninstall ATIH2012 cleaning procedure, this finished successfully in the dos box !!

But after a reboot the Acronis directory wasn't deleted, and its not possible to delete it myself, there are links active !!??.

How can I make sure to deinstall, al registry links and settings included the Acronis directory ? Withhout losing the USB storage functionality in Windows 7 ?

Hope you can give me a working solution….

It's very difficult, Marcel, to suggest a "working solution" without knowing exactly and precisely what got left behind after your own removal attempt. In fact, a wrong suggestion (even if only slightly wrong) could actually put you into a much worse situation.

When you say that "the Acronis directory wasn't deleted", are you referring to the \Program Files\Acronis folder and its subfolders? If so, that's just about the last thing you need to be concerned about so far as removal is concerned. It's what got left behind in your system registry that is most critical. You don't want to go deleting anything else until that has been sorted out. The Acronis cleanup tool should have handled that, but considering other results, it's by no means certain that it did.
