Unwanted Backups

Well, I bought ATIH 2015. I hope I didn't make a mistake.
Twice, now, I have caught Acronis 2015 backing up a disk image by itself. When I created that disk image, part of my settings were NOT to back up automatically. Why is it doing that? It happened within a few minutes of my recovering the disk image. Is this the kind of problem that is going to continue with Acronis 2015?
I do not want the program launching any backups automatically! That is the very reason, with previous versions of Acronis, that I never used the Acronis Secure Zone. I will tell the program when and what I want to back up.
Thank you,
Tim

Once you click "add new backup" how do you name the backup? The name defaults in the list to "New backup" with no apparent way to change it. There is no menu to provide a name or location.
Thanks,

At the top of the screen you will see "New Backup" on the left pane and on the right pane. The "New Backup" pane has a little pencil beside it. Just click on that pencil and you can edit the "New Backup" name to whatever you want.

The changes you make here are applicable only the single specific task which is being created or edited. The same changes will need to be reapplied to any future new task.
This is just like the option regarding a non-scheduled task. When creating a new task, the task will automatically scheduled unless the user takes the extra step to save it as non-scheduled. This was also true with 2014. The task can be saved as "do not schedule" but the user must take the extra steps to make it happen by invoking the "Back up LATER" option.

Just this afternood, I discovered another problem that can only be attributed to Acronis 2015. I was checking for new Windows updates and found that Acronis 2015 had damaged that Windows Update program. When I clicked to check my Update History, the window was blank. It said I had never checked for updates. Of course I had! I had installed Acronis 2015 on an existing partition. I recovered another partition on which I had installed Acronis 2015 and saw the same anomally.
With all these problems that keep cropping up, I doubt very seriously that Acronis will fix these problems. Too bad, I liked what I saw with the Trial version and bought the prog. Now, it appears I will have to ask for a refund. I agree with what someone else, here, said, "Acronis should never have released this version 18, yet.
This makes me angry because I thought at last Acronis has solved some nagging problems.
I am sorry,

Thanks Tim. I tried the pencil and it works. Not obvious (to me) in reading the user guide.

Hi Grover,
The changes you make under the Advanced section regarding not wanting the program to automatically backup the current image do NOT apply even to the current image you are creating. I create an image "Backup 1". Reboot my PC. Launch Acronis 2015 and immediately it automatically starts backing up the same partition again.
I have never found any other place in Acronis 2015 that allows any setting to leave Backup 1 alone.
Thank you,
