Update?

Thread needs solution

I can not believe they haven't updated the program since Nov 23 2009. With all the posts about how many problems ATI2010 is having you would think they would update it.

I know there are a few people that the product is running just fine for on Win7 64 but there are quite a lot that ARE have problems. Why would they not deliver an update? I saw one post that said something about a possible udpate (6084) but nothing else.

I have been using ATI since rev 8 but now I'm tempted to look elsewhere!

I totally agree. I check back here about twice a week in hopes that they have fixed some of the problems but I guess they will come out with TI 2011 and leave it at that. The only think that may help is everyone quits buying the product. Money does talk...

I stopped using ATI2010 and removed it from my machine. I check back here once in a while to see if there is an update, but I do not trust Acronis anymore. I will definitely discourage anyone from buying any of their products.

Very, very disappointing.

I can't help but feel that many of the installation problems are caused by True Image "not playing nice" with something that starts up on those problem systems, something that is probably in the Tray. On some systems I've seen those Tray icons extending almost half way across to the left. On my system all I have in the Tray are PCTools Antivirus, PCTools Firewall, Skype, WinPatrol, Network Connection, Speaker, the Windows Update Icon, and of course the Time.

If you consider Carbonite and some local weather application to be "not playing nice" with ATI2010, then I guess I'm guilty. Yes, I don't run an real-time AV scanner. Then again, I should know better than to expect ATI2010 to play nice at all.

I installed ATI 11 on a brand new computer back in Dec. Win7 64bit. It loaded fine and was working fine. The only complaint I had was that after a reboot, ATI couldn't remember it had already done a full backup. So when I went to do an incremental backup it would do a full.

Since then I had to set my computer back to factory default because I was having some BSOD problem. I had to reinstall everything. I am not attributing my BSOD's though to ATI and it now seems to work fine. I am just scared off from upgrading since my computer is running great now (knock on wood).

I did an image backup and am tempted to install the trial version and see what happens. Any comments about that? The only thing I can say is "It it ain't broke, don't fix it".
