Use TIH 2010 with rsync.net via sftp connection?
Hello,
I recently purchased TIH 2010 for backing up a Windows 7 machine to a remote network host. The remote host, rsync.net, uses secure ftp (sftp) as the transport agent, and requires a user ID and password for login. They supplied ExpanDrive, to be installed on the local W7 machine, which creates a network disk connecting to their server. I have not found any way to make TIH 2010 recognize the network disk.
What is the best way to connect TIH 2010 to this sftp server?

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately I am not yet impressed - not a bit.
I down-loaded and installed Backup and Recovery Workstation 10. Tried to create a backup plan by clicking on Archive, selecting sftp server and entering sftp://abc-d123.rsync.net into the Path field. Next, I click OK, it asks for the user ID and password, which I enter. Click OK. A couple of seconds later, the same user ID and password dialog box pops up again. It REFUSES to take the login credentials and connect to the server! I tried this several times, but to no avail. For a separate test, I fired up Filezilla, entered the same host information, user ID, and password. That works fine. Yes, the server listens on port 22.
Logging in to a remote server should be the EASY part, software wise. What gives?! Do you have any suggestions?

Well, here we are - two and a half weeks after my last post on 20 May, and no response to the question from Acronis. Is anyone from Acronis listening to this? If so, please respond with an answer very soon. I must get the computer working with some backup software.

1. AcronisInfo report.
2. Wireshark logs. Please launch the wireshark application and start the capture process. Try to save the backup to the ftp server several times, so that the application captures everything. Then, you can stop the process and save the wireshark logs.

i've experienced a similar problem with SFPT and ABR10. also i've collected several other issues with ABR10/workstation
