Volume 3 Error
Acronis Home 2010 - PROBLEM
OS-Windows 7 Ultimate
I am running a backup and Validation on my "C" drive. It gets to the validation stage and after about 5 minutes into it, I get the following error:
(the title bar says "Warning")Specify Location in the Volume 3 --Click Browse to specify volume location, Retry to try again, or click Cancel.
When I click Browse: This error message comes up: Documents in this folder are not available. The folder may have been moved or deleted. When I clicked RETRY, I got the same error. When I click CANCEL, Acronis terminated. When I looked at the log, it says "Error date/time Operation has completed with errors."
During this operation, I do not touch my PC. I tried the Backup 3 times all resulting with the same error.
My system is a Stand-alone, not on a network. I have 3 Disk drives "C"referred to as my "Local Disk; a "D" drive referred to as "Data_Download" and an external drive "E" referred to as "BKUP_RECOVERY.
To do the backups, I set up Task and Start them manually. These Task have been executed before and I never had a problem. Every week I backup by "C" and "D" drives to the "E" drive. Even though the "C" backup this week error terminated as described above, I did run the Task to backup the "D" drive and that ran without a problem.
I have no idea what the above error message is telling me when it says "Volume 3". Please help. I feel very uncomfortable using this PC with out a proper backup.
