Volume errors using Home 2010

Thread needs solution

OS = Windows 7 Ultimate; Acronis Home 2010

I have 2 internal drives that I back up on a weekly basis. They are the "C" drive that is used for my OS and Program Files and the "D" drive used for Data and Downloads. The External drive I have , the "E" drive is the drive I write my backups to.

This problem just started: When I do an Incremental backup of my "C" or "D", I am getting a Volume Error during the Validation stage. In addition to the Volume Error message, I also get an error message saying " a directory or file has been moved or deleted...."

When I do a FULL backup, I do not get any errors and I do get a message that the backup was successful.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the errors on an Incremental Backup and how can this problem be resolved?

Thank you very much for your message. I will do my best to assist you.

In order to resolve this issue, I would really appreciate if you can send me a private message with this report. It will show me full application logs. If there are volume errors during validation, it is possible there could be some errors on the hard drive. Once I have that report I will be able to resolve this.
