WD True Image 2013 -- Acronis Loader fatal error (boot not found)

I see so many posts about this problem and so far no explanations or fixes. Acronis should fix what they cause.

XP pro OS, DELL desktop quad core:
I started a clone operation after installing the special program (Extended Capacity Manager) for my 3T drive to get the last 746 gb available. ( The 2 partitions show, one 2048g and one 746g.) After starting the clone from a 2T drive to the 2T unformated section of my new 3T drive the computer sets up for the clone and then reboots and displays the error message:
"Acronis Loader Fatal Error ... etc .. boot partition not found, press Enter to boot OS."

The clone did not occur. But now every boot gets this error message.

Other posts say uninstall does not fix. One solution proposed but not confirmed is to do Recovery Console with "fixmbr", etc. This is scary. Acronis created this problem and should fix it.

As a WD version my 2013 Acronis does not allow the Startup Recovery Manager so don't tell me to deactivate that. I want a real answer that doesn't make me feel "DANGER".
